With the Liftkar HD series SANO expands its product range of modular powered stairclimbers for loads of up to 330 kg!

The objective of this development is to combine the advantages of the Liftkar SAL and Liftkar MTK - both well established on the market - with a new generation of powered stairclimbers to handle weights in excess of 170 kg.

The construction of the frame (patented SANO double configuration aluminium profiles), new design of main wheels with innovative braking system recessed inside the aluminium hubs, and the finely-balanced especially rugged climbing system are just some of the highlight features of this stairclimber.
The main wheels are equipped with puncture-proof tyres and high quality precision ball bearing races for easy and effortless movement on the level.
The perfectly balanced climbing unit, modern control electronics and an attractive, ergonomic design are features that add up to a safe system that saves you effort when working on the stairs.
The high-strength aluminium toe plate that is included with this unit is bolted securely to the frame of the stairclimber.
With Up/Down controls located at both ends of the handle unit, this system is ideal for both left-handed and right-handed operators.
The control electronics integrated into the climbing unit continuously monitor the electrical functions of the stairclimber and indicate through an LED on the handle unit the current status, battery charge and any safety issues (maximum permissible weight exceeded, etc.). Two operating modes (Single-step mode/Continuous mode) round off the possibilities.

This machine is also ideally suited to use on winding stairways.
